About TRB Projects
TRB Projects represents the creation of ​a team with a huge breadth of property development and commercial experience.
From the outset, the key goal of the business was to create a team of people who between them had all the skills and experience necessary to deliver projects professionally, on time and on budget, and to an exacting standard.
Simon Boyden, TRB Projects' Managing Director explains the business's philosophy;
"I've been building houses for nearly 30 years now, and I know that successful property development requires a diverse range of skills and experience. For smaller developers the key challenge is being able to maintain these skills in house, yet that invaluable experience counts for a great deal, not only in seeing and maximising a project's potential but also in overcoming the inevitable challenges that can occur along the way."
"To ensure we had that depth of experience at TRB I created several layers of expertise; beneath myself I have a number of Associate Directors who are able to provide guidance on individual projects, and there's also an extended team of tradespeople and partners who deliver the required services to complete our projects. It's this structure and ethos that gives TRB its incredible depth."
Another area where TRB looks to leverage experience is through its extended partnerships.
By choosing partners who already have a history of working together, TRB is able to avoid many of the pitfalls that come with a new team of services and tradespeople who have not worked together previously. The whole enterprise then becomes a business that leverages decades of experience across all aspects of its delivery.
TRB's approach from the outset has been to avoid focusing on any one particular vertical strategy to the exclusion of all others, as Simon goes on to explain:
"I see many property businesses looking to focus exclusively on a particular strategy. There's nothing wrong with that, however they run the risk of missing out on some great opportunities that sit outside their niche."
"We wanted TRB Projects to have a solid strategic base in terms of project size and location, but then to be able to look at any opportunity that fitted those criteria, irrespective of its type."
"Again, this is where experience plays its part; being able to see beyond the more obvious angles and to devise solutions that really maximise a project's potential; ideas that less experienced developers may not have considered."
